When I looked my name up, not much came up about me,
which is good and bad.All I noticed was my old facebook that I never deleted. It’s good because you can’t see anything negative, but it’s bad because you can’t see all the positive I have done. I’m not rushing that though because in my future I plan to do amazing things. As of now there is really nothing about me. When colleges start to look me up, however, if they find me I hope they see what good I have done so far. I hope they see that I am a leader and I achieve goals. I want them to see that I am witty and at times funny but most off all I want them to see that I try and I always strive for success no matter what anyone says. In, “College prospects are being watched on Facebook and Twitter” and “37 Percent Of Employers Use Facebook To Pre-Screen Applicants, New Study Says” I could somewhat relate. I get exactly what they were saying. They were basically saying that colleges and jobs are looking at what we put on social media and do judge us off of it. I don’t feel it be wrong because social media tells you a lot about you. Like how in “This Is How A Woman’s Offensive Tweet Became The World’s Top Story” told that woman to be very rude and offensive and it lost her a lot of job opportunities. This is something I never wish to happen ,it would probably shatter my soul. Just the thought of being turned away from a wonderful opportunity because of something ignorant I may have said on a bad day. |
